Maeve Miller creates art in service of the weird. Her films deal in collective memory, dreams, and unconventional paths of satisfaction. She is interested in telling stories about the marginalized experience of the Art world; how we create, find joy, and thrive when the modes of production are the tools of our subjugation.
In 2022, Maeve graduated from Harvard University with a joint concentration in Film Production and History of Art. Her undergraduate thesis was born out of Salvador Dalí’s mystic tarot project and contemporary Afrosurrealism.
She is currently setting up in Los Angeles after a few months of research and writing for an upcoming project.
Maeve is always looking for collaborators and new projects so reach out!
“I like strange films, films that push against sense. I want to make films that show the absurdity in inequality and celebrate our beautiful, dangerous obsession with art."
